Big 3 with David Wei: Tea Ceremony & Gangsta Rap
WE DRANK 3 GALLONS OF TEA OUT OF TINY CUPS... HERE'S WHAT I LEARNED
Tea is the art of hospitality and the practice of slowing down, being present, and sharing abundance. I was way off... I was stuck in an ignorant lens between two worlds of Tea.
1. British Tea Party: which is either with dolls because you have no friends, or with fancy people being fancy while your fancy friends play croquet in the background. AKA, Hell.
Or option 2...Which is the only tea ceremony any 80's ex juvenile delinquent knows. The tea ceremony in Karate Kid 2. Which means I'm about to hook up with the daughter of my sensei's love interest which could start a war between clans.
This is the 3rd kind. It's about slowing down being present and sharing abundance. We talked about the big 3 in the process. David grew up in Richmond back when it was the most dangerous place in CA. Then off the the temples in Wudang to study martial arts. He's a dear friend, a huge presence, and lives by the simple code of "SHOW UP, SHUT UP, ADD VALUE".
