My Interview with Sifu Kisu: Making Avatar Last Airbender- For Afrocomicon 2020
As far as great stories go... Avatar: The Last Airbender is one of the all time greats.
Last month Sifu Kisu stopped by and spent the week with me. We shared our geekness for Kung Fu and got all "Judgey" on how it's essence is being diluted through... Ah who cares.
Then the lovely people at Afrocomicon asked if we could do an interview. Of course! If you are not a fan of the show, then you probably haven't seen it. And NOOOOO! I'm not talking about the failed attempt by that "Sixth Sense" guy, ole' what's his face, or the other "blue people" movie that had to use ridiculous overpriced technology to distract you from the cliche that it regurgitated into your popcorn. I'm talking about the amazing tale of Ang and his pals on Nickelodeon. You can stream it now somehwere. I'm not sure where, due to the fact that I cancelled my two streaming services after realizing that I was fulfilled after seeing Niles & Daphne finally get together.
