With a good foundation, both physically and mentally, anything can grow and take root. We often think about the "fruit" we want to produce and neglect the soil, or foundation, that we are growing from. Are you nourished? How is your mind? How is your life structured? What are your habits? Do you have space for something new?

INTEGRATE 

"If you can't walk with it, it doesn't exist."

That's just a deep way to say add a little stress and you will learn so much faster, and you won't forget it. 

It's easy to be peaceful, and get fit in a retreat, temple, yoga class, or immersion. But all things must integrate into your life and relationships. So the real work begins when you get home and return back to the life you have created. Then you can integrate new habits and practices.
